ROUILLARD BIO-ÉNERGIE LAUNCHES BUSINESS IN THETFORD MINES

The technology transfer center in industrial oleochemistry, OLEOTEK inc. and the Technopole de la région de Thetford are proud to announce the installation of Rouillard Bio-Énergie in Thetford Mines.

Rouillard Bio-Énergie is a company created in 2008 by François Rouillard, a chemist who graduated at the University of Sherbrooke and Laval. Rouillard Bio-Énergie has started its operations in the Victoriaville region by establishing a local collection network of waste food oils. François Rouillard, who is also a researcher at OLEOTEK, currently uses the waste cooking oils to produce biodiesel, a renewable diesel fuel whose use can reduce the global warming.
